The Leftfield Rose is a creative blend of Merlot, Pinotage and Arneis. Upon arrival at the winery, the red fruit was gently pressed to produce light pink juice with loads of flavour. Once the cloudy juice was clear, it was racked to stainless steel tank for fermentation. Fermentation was conducted at cooler temperatures to ensure the retention of bright fruit aromas and topped with a small amount of residual sugar to provide balance to the palate. The white Arneis was fermented separately and blended back with the Pinotage and Merlot Rose to add a lovely floral aroma to the wine and freshness to the palate.
