We are 175 years old!

When Andy Dike’s Great, Great, Grandfather Harold set off one sunny morning on his first horse & cart delivery round Stalbridge in 1851, could he have imagined that his grocery business would still be thriving 175 years later? 

To celebrate this milestone, we’re holding a 175th Anniversary Prize Draw. Starting on the 17th May, our customers  will receive a Draw Ticket for every £10 they spend in the shop for three weeks or as long as stocks last (see terms below). We joined forces with our loyal suppliers and many local businesses to put together a whole huge, heap of prizes, more than 6,000 in total! So a big thank you to all of them and also our local local community and our much valued customers!

Lucky winners can look forward to anything from free coffee, chutney and children’s toys, to booze, hampers, meals out and some cracking top prizes such as a full set of tyres from J Day Engineering or a Nintendo Switch!  

Look out for other 175th Anniversary events through summer into the autumn, including the launch of a commemorative book and an in-store exhibition.

Prize Draw Terms & Conditions: Customers must be 18 or over. One Prize Draw Ticket will be awarded for every £10 spent at Dike & Son between 17/05/26 and 07/06/26 while stocks last. Tickets must be collected from our cashiers at time of purchase of goods and redeemed by 30/06/26. (Home delivery/Click & Collect customers will receive their Draw Tickets with their order.) Offer excludes vapes & tobacco, medicines, gift vouchers, mobile phone top-up cards, PayPoint transactions, Lottery tickets and other Scratchcard purchases. Prizes cannot be substituted for any alternative prizes or cash. All Dike & Son Prize Draw Tickets are security marked & will be inspected upon redemption. The management reserves the right to refuse to redeem any Ticket that appears to be forged or otherwise tampered with.
