Charity fund boost for Sherborne Town Band

Sherborne Town Band and Youth Band were delighted to hear they'd scooped a £5,000 Heart of the Community windfall recently, thanks to our generous customers. 

The money is raised through Dike & Son's participation in the Nisa Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity fund, which adds money to the pot when certain products are purchased in-store. 

It may only be pennies, but it soon adds up. Since the MADL scheme began we've been able to donate over £30,000 to local good causes including as Julias House, Riding for the Disabled, Future Roots and several local primary schools, as well as supporting many other cricket and football teams, charities and community groups.

The two bands have used the money to buy new percussion instruments, music stands and books, as well as new collection jackets.
