Nisas Making A Difference Locally (MADL) Charity

Funds for this charity are raised in-store through our customers choosing to buy specially marked products so look out for items marked with the purple smiley logo and every time you buy one, you will be adding to the funding pot!

Numerous local good causes have benefited from the MADL fund to date, including Julias House, Riding for the Disabled and Future Roots food and farming learning centre, which have all had cheques for £2,000 or more.

Our very popular online poll has seen six winners of £500 since it launched in July 2011 (St Gregorys School, Marnhull, Sherborne Youth Band, Blandford & Sturminster Newton Cat Protection, St Nicholas Dance Club, Child Okeford, Mosaic, Blandford and The Wessex Autistic Society).

Charities benefit from our bins and boxes

Unwanted books, CDs, and DVDs and videos can now be recycled in our car park in the big red recycling bin for the British Heart Foundation. And you can put all your tidy and clean items of clothing into our clothes bin to raise money for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.

We're supporting our community

If you have a community event you'd like to publicise, please email your information to info@dikes-direct.co.uk
